O Lord, please make me simple. Please take away from me everything that stands between me and serving you. Hashem, please teach me the simplest Torah; please teach me to stand as a man should stand, to walk as a man should walk, and to eat only as a man was intended to eat in this, your world of creation. Please take me out of my service to you and leave only service to you. Please take me from my eyes’ ability to see dark where there is only light, my hands’ ability to destroy where there is only creation, my heart’s ability to hate where there is only love.
