Everybody knows the holy Torah about how the word for "man" in Hebrew is composed of three letters: aleph, shin and yud. The word for "woman" in Hebrew is also composed of three letters: aleph, shin and heh. When the husband and the wife combine, they bring together the heh and the yud, and this spells one of Hashem's names. Therefore, if they bring Hashem into their relationship, they will have peace and tranquility. If they do not, then all that's left is the aleph and shin. Aleph and shin spell "aish," an all consuming fire.
If we get deeper into the Torah, we realize that even when the husband and wife bring Hashem into every aspect of their lives, they still both have "aish," fire. This is how it has to be. We have to walk with God and we have to be on fire.
