Through the Alter Rebbe's commentary on Parshat Balak, Rav Daniel Kohn explores some of the pivotal issues in our relationship to Hashem, tefillah, and our way of being in the world. This installment explores the essential concepts of clearing and then transforming, and how prayer fits into the counting of the mitzvoth--or doesn't--as the spinal chord to the 'limbs' of the mitzvoth.
