Love for All!
This past Yom Shlishi was the 9th yortzeit of the late Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach z`l. Reb Shlomo was known as the Rebbe of the world, traveling and bringing light to all the dark places through his soulful melodies, stories, and words of torah. So here is a short dvar torah on Parashat Vayera from his holy words:
Abraham saw these three people in the desert. But they weren't just people. They were the lowliest of the low-these three men worshiped the sand on their feet. Just the same, Abraham took them in and treated them like angels. And from his hospitality, he was blessed to have a son who would be the continuation of the Jewish People. This shows the importance of inviting everyone in to our homes, into our life, and into our hearts.
